‘Take that!’: Woman gets dumped for saying ‘I love you’ first, takes her scorned-lover's revenge by revealing the embarrassing way he got fired to his parents

All is fair in love and war, right? They tend to go hand-in-hand—constantly reassuring it's strong ties in countless stories, real and fiction. If you have loved, then you have lost. If you have lost, then you have loved. You see? One cannot live without the other… I digress, this isn't a philosophy class or poetry slam, this is Failblog and we're here to dish a juicy drama that came from a scorned lover. That's right, your class heartbreak tale of on partner in love and the other not—so revenge must be sought. 

 

Why? Listen, if we knew why everyone did what they did while they were broken hearted, we'd probably have a much calmer society… She did what she did, maybe it was impulsive and fueled by messy confusing heartache, but who hasn't been there? Sometimes you make questionable decisions when you're sad. For instance, I remember telling my best friend to go stand near my ex and talk really loudly to our guy friend about how great I am doing and how well I have moved on. Spoiler alert: I was not doing great and had not moved on… God, I think back on that still and cringe. WHO WAS THAT WOMAN?! A scorned lover, that's who. Just like this Redditor…

  • When I went back to his house a day or two later he had what few possessions I had at his house (toothbrush, etc) packed up and he told me that we were done. Me using the "L" word was a deal breaker for him, which to me revealed him to be nothing but a con-man. A good one at that for my cynical self to have fallen for it.

After he dumped me I sent an email to his very religious parents - using an email address so similar to his that they wouldn't notice the difference - to confess his actions that led to losing his professional license.
